Dog Breeders Texas Q&A
What's wrong with buying a dog online?
Lots of people looking for a puppy will ask "Is this a good site?"
Well - is THIS a good site? http://www.maggicpets.com/
Looks good in theory, right? Read on:

500 dogs were seized from this "premier North Texas breeder" and turned over to the Humane Society. Is this where you want your puppy to come from?
Don't support puppy mills. If you must get a puppy, get one from a RESPONSIBLE breeder. Not a pet store or a web site. Dogs are animals, not a pair of shoes.
Even when I clicked on the first link, I said to myself PUPPY MILL. No reputable breeder would have that many different breeds, or be breeding the designed dog mixes.
There are reputable breeders out there that have web sites. But very, very few would consider selling a puppy to a stranger over the internet without doing a thorough screening. If all they are interested in is getting your money-walk away. They should ask you 101 questions, then ask 101 more! A reputable breeder is concerned about where their puppies are going.
Here is the website for the kennel I got my male Gordon from. Click on puppy pictures to see the puppies- mine is white boy! He is now Stonemist Nick of Time and the love of my life.
