Looking for responsible pit bull breeder?
I am looking for an American Pit Bull Terrier breeder, preferably in Utah but I am willing to look in Idaho, Arizona, or Colorado, who breeds only good family dogs with a sound temperament. A breeder who screens for ANY agressive behavior in their dogs. I am looking for quality family pets, not guard dogs or fighters.
Please do not suggest different breeds (it may be what you wan't but not what I want). I'm olny loking for American Pit Bull Terrier Breeders.
Please do not suggest shelter dogs. I want a pup who I can properly socialize arround children, strangers, and other dogs, a pup I can train to not be mean...I don't want the potential for bad history with a shelter dog.
Try the UKC site, and the AKC for Am Staffs.
Best you can do it Google, but I will tell you right now, reputable breeders of APBT are EXTREMELY hard to find.
Take your time looking. Get in contact with some breeders of Am Staffs by the AKC and ask them if they can recommend a reputable APBT breeders.
Network. Ask Veterinarians in your area, trainers, and other breeders, even of different or similar breeds.
