How To Convince My Mom To Get a Puppy ?
Hello,
My dad has always been a dog lover because he had previously had aDoberman, he told me all the stories of him an Wiki (Dobe)
So he lightened my fire to get a dog, im 14 now and i have been research training and all different breeds for 4 years already. She keeps on making excuses and now the excuse is that she doesn't want a dog pooin in the house. I have red about 10 different methods of toliet training but she wont give it a chance. The breeder said they can give me 2 weeks to see if the puppy fits in, I have told her all of my thoughts andshe still doesn't like to get a puppy or dog. Please help me.
PS: I was planning to adopt a puppy from the local animal shelter.
It will be mighty hard to convince your mother if she is simply dead-set against it. What you need to figure out is what the real reason is behind her not wanting to get a dog. Perhaps she doesn't feel she can handle the expense of vet care, spay/neuter, shots, possible injuries and diseases down the road that will have to be treated.
My dog, Boxey lost an eye due to disease at age 12, he developed a large tumor on his leg which had to be removed a year earlier. They had a drain in him so we had to keep all the floors covered with sheets and old blankets so as not to stain the carpet with blood. I had to take him outside with a toothbrush and a hose to clean up his leg every day in addition to administering antibiotics and pain pills. This went on for a couple of months. He also has an enlarged heart and now has to have prescription food which is 40 dollars a month. My one cat also suffers bladder problems and has had one surgery, a flushing out a year later and is also on a special expensive diet.
If your mom can't afford these kinds of situations as the animal ages and doesn't want to commit then that responsibility would fall to you. Can you afford a $600.00 procedure out of the blue if something were to happen?
I just want you to think seriously about how much it costs as that is one thing you did not address in your question.
I think everyone who wants a pet should be able to have one, but you have to be able to afford to care for them.
If you're really willing to put in the additional effort and sacrifice of finance for a dog as well as the time, training and attention, you just need to sit down with mom and find out what her core reason is.
Good luck.

Breeding of race-Jindo?
I know that everyone wants everyone to neuter / spay their dogs, but that can raise their dogs when they are considered rare in the U.S. to preserve your race? I recently bought a male from a breeder Jindo (4 months), and is champion bloodlines (father shown Jindo 2005 champion) and his mother is a dog show also. And both were imported from Korea to ensure its purity:. Jindo Dad http://www.jindola.com/photos/displayimage.php?album=9&pos=0: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korea_Jindo_Dog And I'm planning to show what
ONLY if your dog is a good representation of the same standard race (which can be purchased at showing). ONLY if your dog has adequate health cetif. to ensure future healthy litters. ONLY if you are committed to all and every puppy you bring into this world from birth to death. I also suggest reading this before you consider breeding your dog: http://www.chowwelfare.com/cciw/breeddog.htm
