Dog Breeding Business Plan Q&A
What is the maxiumum temperature to keep a shetland sheepdog?
I currently have a lovely dog. Male, age 6 year old weighing 14kg. He's been living with us since birth in the city of hong kong..where the temperature is usually from lowest 10 and highest 30. We are planning to shift to India very soon coz of my business expansion. So I was wondering if India will be way too extreme. The lowest temperature is -2 the lowest to 45 degrees the highest..so any suggestions. Is it way too hot..or he'll be ok there?
Again his breed is a Shetland Sheepdog also known as a Sheltie.
When temperature is minus 2 make sure he has somewhere warm to go. When its 45 degrees make sure he has acess to shade and lots of water. Dont give him strenous exercise on really hot days becasue he could over heat. I'm sure he'll be fine though:)

Dog Breeding Business Plan Q&A
On edge about buying a miniature dachshund?
For months I've been researching and reading books on miniature dachshunds, and I love the race, but I've heard and read that tend to be difficult to train potty and has the spine and back. Problems So my questions are: What is the right diet for them so they do not become over weight, how? What causes that race back and spine problems and can be fixed? And finally. Is it an accurate and easy to train the dog, okay? Is it worth having dog? PS I plan to be a pet inside, but enough to go outside to do his business. Also, I have the intention of walking all day! Thank you very much!
Feel free to email me with questions, but here are the answers to their current q: The right diet is something healthy (wheat and soy free sorn). tend to be picky eaters, but eat California Naturals (made by innovation) and mine does it well. Also tend to eat more if not properly controlled and exercised, so be sure to conrtol feeding well. This goes right and the spine, along with problems back. Feeding a healthy diet and maintaining a healthy weight keeps the pressure on his shoulders. Minimize the bounds, like climbing stairs, jumping and furniture. I have no stairs, but I bought a small ramp for my chairs and mini doxie taught me how to use it, so it doesn't go furniture. are extremely loyal, funny and amazing at his side. They are difficult to educate, but with consistency and a strict routine, you can do. My child is 8 months old, took about four months to train, my 2 year old, took about three months to train, but it was ransom. The energy can be high, but as they mature, they become large lap dogs. You really need to stay indoors and have stopped barking at the outset, or may be heralds problem. also need to be socialized from an early age. We carried it everywhere with us since our first day. I taught him to put in my bag when we left so he could enjoy the view, and now that he is older who loves everyone and everything, but our rescue more people are not as new or dogs as he was not socialized as a puppy. They are small and cute so it have become a trendy pet for .... but really are not right for every home, which I'm sure if you've been doing your research. As long as your have the time to commit to training, exercise and socialization, will be a great doxie owner!
