Where can I find information on breeding a certain type of dog?
I'm sorry that there are dogs in shelters and stuff like that, I have rescued several in my life. I'm only interested in breeding a purebreed dog according to its standard which doesnt mean im getting a dog and letting it be breed by anything and end up dumped off somewhere. I'm stricktly a hobby breeder with very healthy dogs and I only have one female that wont be breed until 1 1/2 years or older so please just answer the question and dont give me your crap.
I have a little min pin female I would like to breed next year and can't find info on min pin breeding, should I find a book instead?
If you want to breed..
the SHOW her, work on her CH title, and find a BREEDING MENTOR who can help you do research on breeding, reproductive cycle, whelping, health issues, the breed standard, genetics, pedigrees, puppy raising, etc.
She cannot be bred until at least the age of 2, because certain health tests cannot be done until that age.
No you cannot just "find a book".. you need to show her and find an experienced breeder to help guide you.
