How can I find information on a dog breeder?
I am looking to contact the breeder of my dog; I have the breeder's name on my Certificate of Pedigree but nothing else. When I do a white pages search, 18 or 20 names come up, but I have no way of knowing if any of those people are actually the breeder. I also checked some of the breeder clubs in my state and in surrounding states, but I didn't find the breeder listed.
Are there any other directories I could search, etc.?
I have all the information concerning the dog's lineage, including sire, dam, etc. So I should just send a general email to AKC?
