What dogs don't shed (or shed very little) that can also go on long runs almost daily?
My husband and I want a dog to go on runs with us about 3-4 times a week for a couple miles each. However, I hate dog hair so we need one that doesn't shed. All of the dogs I can find that don't shed are too little to take running with us. Is there any dog that can run like this and not have a lot of hair to clean up after?

Let me clarify: I don't mind a little hair...but my father has a black lab, and her hair is literally everywhere. I hate going over for dinner and having to clean the table off because there is hair where we eat. I want to find one that i don't have to constantly be worried about the mess.
I've said it before in here, but I am not a big fan of dogs as running partners unless you are a trail runner. You have a $100 pair of shoes to protect your legs and feet - a dog has a quarter inch of skin.
But, low shed dogs with lots of energy are
Standard Poodle
Bouvier Des Flandres
Black Russian Terrier
Kerry Blue Terrier
Standard or Giant Schanuzer
Portuguese Water Dog
Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier
Airedale
All these dogs have very high grooming needs and will drop hair. It will be nothing compared to a Lab or a German Shepherd, though. Most of these breeds are not dogs for first time owners or whose activity level a 5 mile run a few times a week will satiate.
