does anyone know of anyone who is looking for a home for a small dog, i live in colchester essex free?
i lost my dog 10 months ago, and feel now i would love another, the only thing is i cant afford to pay hundreds of pounds, i,ve even tried the rescue home in mistley and they want a donation of 180 pounds which i dont have, any advise would be great thanks

apart from the common-sense answer from above, concerned about the dogs future costs, that's why there's a PDSP.
they will take what you can afford to cover veterinary care.
i'm sure there's one in Colchester or one near by.
i suggest to find a replacement for your " lost " pet, ( sorry for your loss & i do hope a new dog will ease that pain )
check in the Local Shops, sometimes if you're lucky, you can find an ad for Free to a Good home or try the local paper.
also try any local vets, as they often know of dogs in need.
i'm not exactly impressed by charities demands for high donations, when all you are trying to do is offer a second chance to a unwanted/abandoned dog.
