Excessive Shedding In Dogs Q&A

Excessive shedding in dogs...?

I have a 3 year old dog who is half great dane and half bullmastiff. She is an indoor dog. About 2 weeks ago she started shedding. At first I thought that it was due to her having a thicker coat due to winter, but now I'm a little concerned. I can actually put out tons of hair! It doesn't seem like normal shedding. I've never had an indoor dog, so I'm not used to it anyway, but it seems excessive to be able to just pull it out with no effort! Should I call the vet or is there something I can do?? Oh, and I do brush her daily.

Great danes and Bullmastiff are both dog breeds that shedd ALOT I have a Border Collie and a Husky and they are both breeds known to shed alot but I've change there food and give them extra vitamans and I've noticed they shedd allot less!!! They eat INNOVA food I deffinatly recomend you change them to a food with Omega 3 and Omega 6 and brush them every day!!! There is also a pill called shedX and it's all nateral Omega 3 tablet that DOES work!!! Change her food to a more high quality food and you might find a big diference in shedding but I know you will in health I promise!!!

Sorry for bad spelling!! *Laughs*

Excessive Shedding In Dogs Q&A

dumping too much for my dog??

My dog is losing lot. I worry if it is a physical or fair. What should I do to help? Or should I go to a vet. Thanks in advance

What race are you? Some shed more than others. And during the season of shedding his house covered in dog hair! It's normal. Now if Not dumb, and if your dog is a race that covered much, and losing lots of hair, then MAYBE health issues. Most times the solution is as simple as food you are feeding. If you feed him food from supermarkets? (For example, as-God forbid-Purina? Pedigree?) Food as promoting nothing an unhealthy dog. It's as if your eating McDonald's every day! You can not see the consequences now, but gradually accumulate. Hair loss is one of them. I have a Rough Collie (Lassie) to know how much hair he has! Now I'm feeding Innova Evo. I do not see a single strand of hair in my house. His coat is bright and vibrant and never have health problems with him .. Furthermore, it is necessary to brush the dog regularly.
