I need to know because i'm pre ordering the stuff for it and female and male sizes are defrint.thanks
Yes, most places who sell ferrets sell both sexes. There is a size difference between males and females but there is also a size difference due to genetics. I have some 3 lb females but the normal size for a female is about 2 lbs. I have a female who is barely one pound. When you buy from petco, the ferret will be spayed or neutered. I am curious what things for a ferret are ordered in sizes? I don't really worry about sizes unless I have a particularly large male to accomodate.

Why ferrets are so expensive?
Petco, Petsmart, all these places that sell ferrets, there so expensive! I mean, I have two ferrets that I got from a rescue, and I can say is 100% worth money, but seriously, for the state found in these pet stores, why is it so difficult to sell for under $ 150? It is always a tense moment when I decide to get another ferret, I have to search everywhere. It's a pain. Why so expensive?
Ferrets are so expensive, because most of them are sold already spayed and descent. It costs money to get things done. My vet charged $ 200 just to sterilize ..
