Where can I get a Leonberger in Florida?
I've checked all over it's kinda impossible to find one at the dog pound and I looked online at petfinder why can't I find one in Florida, anywhere else would be too far for me to go get it,
any of you guys from FL and maybe know where I can adopt one?
also if I end up finding a breeder how do I know he's legit and not some backyard breeder will the breeder have some kinda of license.

Leos are a rare breed, about to become more popular due to now being accepted into the working group in AKC, so buyer beware! The list I posted is of reputable breeders who agree to abide by a code of ethics. There is no one on the list in Florida, you'll have to travel or have one shipped (I would - and have- travelled, rather than subjecting my pup to shipping.)
So- why are you interested in Leos?
