German Shepherd Breeders In Florida Q&A
Why is my 9 wk old German Shepherd puppy "dripping" urine? Experienced people, HELP!!!!?
My 9 wk old male GSP drips urine, unknowingly. We just recently got him, and his last visit to the vet was on Monday, and he is said to be very healthy. We got him from Florida, and we live in NY.
He lived on a farm and had ticks (not deer ticks) and I'm not sure if that could be causing problems with his bladder? It isn't a lot of urine, but its just little droplets as he plays, naps, or anything puppies do.
I'd prefer that someone who has puppy experience answer this question. (ie: breeder, vet, etc.)
Thanks for your help!
well dripping is better than him peeing uncontrollably, but still unusual. it could be a puppy thing or something wrong with his bladder, bring him to the vet there could be a problem.

German Shepherd Breeders In Florida Q&A
Dog Wolf / Wolf hybrid breeders in Florida?
I had an 8 year old German Shepherd that died, and now I'm looking into getting a hybrid wolf. For anyone who has owned of a party, make good pets? And do you know of any breeders in Florida, Alabama, Georgia or South Carolina? Thanks (:
The last thing you want in your house is a wild animal, hybrid or not. There is a very good chance he / she will develop traits that were intentionally bred OUT of the domestic dog, and very good reason. While wolves have many traits that make them capable of being domesticated, they also possess features that make them really difficult to maintain as pets. These traits, genes and hormones that regulate a hightened aggression, dominance and prey, do not exist in the domestic dog. The wolf, like the dog, reaches physical maturity at 2 years of age. However, unlike the dog, the wolf develops hormones and instinctive impulses that govern their level of aggression, level dominance and prey drive. At 2 years of age of a dog simply stops the development and leaves them in a perpetual state of puppies like. Dogs have been described as wolves in a state of arrested development, because that is exactly what they are. A wolf pup until it is 2 years old, much like a dog. They are playful, friendly, fun, and can be very outgoing. However, at maturity, is very common to see a very tough personality change, sometimes frightening. What was once a fun, playful friend can begin to develop a temperament alpha, and alpha wolf is truly frightening to live with when you do not understand what we're seeing and why your pet is wreaking havoc on food from their hands, nipping at you, growling and snarling at you and walk all over you. On the other hand, many become too shy and lonely hide from any and all noises that can not be identified immediately. Lobos, especially adult wolves are timid by nature and can be very, dangerously territorial. Are you aware that you can not ethically rehome never once passed the age of 6 months or so? After that age who have joined his "flock" bond and not a new one as a dog. Wolves are known to pine away themselves after abandonment if not chosen themselves permission (ie, running) and generally it is more humane than euthanasia. Euthanize a pet because they do not do your research and do not know what they were getting into and now can not keep it is irresponsible on many levels. The strength of the domestic dog is a selectively bred trait that is extremely rare in wolves. This also includes the extremely high tolerance for a dog to abuse that wolves do not possess. If you hit or yell at a wolf run a very real risk of starting a very physical fight is likely to lose. Losing a fight would be bad for your relationship with the wolf, and you actually let him down a peg in the package and placed on top of you. You will not get that position without a lot of grunting, snap of the teeth and possibly another fight. And talk about a high-energy animal! While the Huskies are generally accepted as one of the races with highest demands of exercise, a wolf far, far superior to the exercise needs of a husky. I refer to the formation of wolf belt, putting on a long lead, and take an hour two or more long-term, daily minimum. Wolves routinely travel miles and miles and miles each day, especially in search of prey. 20 miles a day. Can you provide that? Are you going to take a week 20 mile bike, in addition to his work every day several hours? Wolves are not pets. They were domesticated for a REASON. Occasionally breed domestic dogs, because people are suffering in some strange illusion common and are trainable. Intelligence indicates no training capacity, and wolves are known to virtually untrainable. They simply are not pets. The wolf is an animal social need. If not ready to marry, have children, and plans to have a successful career then get a pet less needy. A wolf or a hybrid high content is like having a toddler at all - for the next 10-15 years. The idea of a wolf is fun for most people, but the reality is that there are dogs, are not pets, they are wild animals with very specific needs and require very knowledgeable owners / drivers. The most likely not even get a permit U.S. Forest Service unless you consider a proper rearing of the animals rescued. There are several dog breeds wolf and several "types" of dogs that look remarkably wolf, but have the temperament of the domestic dog. Consider the Siberian husky, Sarloos Wolfhound, Czech wolfhound, or Utonagan Tamaskan. All are of very high energy high unit races and at least it can provide a race every day 02.01 hour, still not the breed for you.
