Goldendoodle puppy pees inside! Help!?
Hello! I have a new Goldendoodle (almost 8 weeks old) and I got her yesterday. She frequently pees inside. I put a pad on the floor but she won't pee on it. When she has an accident, I put her on the pad rightaway but she seems like she didn't learn yet. Is it too soon to expect a lot from her or is it something that I do wrong? Do I have to take her outside after every nap? What if she wakes up in the middle of the night and pees on the floor without me noticing? I am currently trying to crate train her but I don't get the idea 100%. When does she have to stay in the crate? I am always home so I can do whatever you say, I care about her very much. Thanks for helping me.
PS. She always pooped outside (like one time daily) however she pooped without me seeing it just once inside.
Yes it is to soon to be expecting the pup to be house trained. She is 8 weeks (2 months) that is just a puppy. You should take her out every two to three hours and then 20 minutes after she eats and 20 minutes after she drinks a lot. Crate training is the easiest way to house train, in my opinion, what you do is put her in the crate when you go to bed, I started my dog being crated in my room and when she would wine I would hit the crate, so it made a noise, and firmly say "NO" I had two or three sleepless nights but it worked. Also when I would let my dog out I would say "go pee" and then praise her and give her treats when she went to the bathroom. The trick to house training is to not get mad and to let her out a lot. Also when the puppy does go in the house you can only scold her when you catch her doing it and say firmly No and place her out side and then praise her when she goes out side. She should also be crated when you are not around to watch her or let her out.
P.S a puppy can only hold it for 2 - 3 hours if it is 2 months old so example if the dog was 6 months old it could hold it for 6-7 hours and so on until, well most say 8 hours but my dog can hold it for 17 at night. Shes only a year old.
These methods worked for me and my sister with our 4 dogs. Good luck and keep at it.

I live in New Hampshire.and'm looking for a mini goldendoodle puppy. I have not a lot of money and my health because I think this dog would be best for me so if anyone can Help I would have to train him or her from a puppy stage.I'm hearing impaired and suffer from depression. I know that this animal I will help a lot. thanks for any help. Thanks again KIM
Why the hell do you mix GoldenxPoodle? If you get one, go to petfinder.com and rescue. Please do not spend thousands of dollars in a mixed race. Too many dogs die in shelters every day. 40 dogs a day in which they live. Ever has actually been around them. They are so hyper as all get out, not so smart (I've only met two intelligent beings in my life) and mostly pure. I've seen go up to $ 3,000. Crazy! And if your health is bad, do not really need one of these dogs! They require a lot of grooming, tons of walks and obedience classes are a necessity. I really do not know what kind of dog would be good for you (bearing in mind that you do not know your circumstances), but definitely not this one race, dum dum hyper of a dog. Any trainer or hairdresser will tell you the same!
