Any Great Dane owners here? (pictures included)
I am in the process of trying to get a 7 month old Dane pup from someone. I have done my research on the breed, and just want to know your experiences with owning your Dane(s). How often do you bathe, walk, etc.. Any major health problems you've had to deal with? Any problems with other animals or children? Just curious.

Danes can have problems...hip dysplasia, HOD, Wooblers, thyroid, DCM....these problems while they can happen to even the best of breeders are a lot more likely to happen in Danes that aren't well bred, didn't come from health tested parents, whose parents weren't carefully researched and bred.
A Dane can be a wonderful dog but it must be properly socialized, properly trained and well bred.
Bathing isn't necassary except before a show or if the dog has rolled in something or gotten dirty. Walking should be done at least a couple of times a day.
The Dane in the picture is a mantle merle...She needs to be spayed...
What type of breeder is she from? Were her parents health tested (not just simple vet exams but OFA/CERF)? How well has she been socialized?
You will need to get her into obedience classes if you get her. a
Make sure no puppy food not even large breed..feed a good qaulity food such Canidae ALS, Wellness Super5 Mix chicken, Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul regular or large breed adult, Innova, Solid Gold, Merrick, just to name a few.

What are all the different types / versions of Great Dane.? I've heard of the Harlequin, Cheetah and Brindle. Is there a website where I can see photos of all the different types of this beautiful animal?

Black should appear on the edge of the eyelids and eyebrows, and may appear in the ears and tail tip. The height of the base color and clearer and even tiger, most will be the preferred color. Too much or too little are equally tabby undesirable. White patches on the chest and feet, black front, dirty-OR brindles are not desirable -. colleagues Fawn color should be golden yellow with a black mask. Black should appear at the edge of the eyelids and eyebrows, and may appear on the ears and tail tip. The deep yellow gold must always be given preference. White spots on the chest and feet, black-fronted dirty colored fawns are not desirable -. The blue color should be of pure steel blue. White spots on chest and toes are not desirable. - Black The black color will be bright. White spots on chest and toes are not desirable -. Harlequin base color is pure white with black irregular patches torn and well distributed throughout the body, a pure white neck is preferred. The black patches should never be large enough to give the appearance of a blanket, nor so small to give a stippled or mottled effect. Eligible, but less desirable, are a few small spots in a gray or white base with a single black hair showing through, which tend to give a salt and pepper or dirty effect. Any variance in color or markings described above fails to the extent of the deviation. Any large Danish does not fall within the above color classifications must be disqualified;. Mantle - The color is black and white with solid black blanket extending over the body black skull with white muzzle, white stain is optional; whole white collar preferred, a white chest, white on part or all of the forelimbs and hindlimbs; white tail tip black. A small white mark on the black cloak is acceptable because it is a break in the white collar. Any variance in color or markings as described above, fails to measure the deviation. Any Great Dane which does not fall within the classifications of color above shall be disqualified. (Note: This paragraph refers to all descriptions of color and pattern, not just mantle).
