buying french spaniels?
Hi. Me and my dad are shooters, and it is a possibility (if i can persuade him!!!) that within the next year we may get a dog. I have talked with him, and he seems keen on a spaniel (as he grew up with them). The type I have identified (which suits what we need - a good gun dog etc) is a French Spaniel.
However, the problem is that we live in England (United Kingdom) and the only breeders I can find online are in America, which for obvious practical reasons would be almost impossible. Does anybody know whether there are any breeders of the French Spaniel in the United Kingdom, preferably England itself?

They are not recognized by the United Kennel Club yet. They are very rare in the UK.

purchase of French poodles?
Hello. Me and my dad are the shooters, and it is a possibility (if I can convince him!) That the next year we can have a dog. I talked to him, and he seems interested in a poodle (as he grew up with them.) The type I have found (which fits what we need - a gun, so good dog) is a poodle French. However, the problem is that we live in England (United Kingdom) and only breeders can be found online in the United States, which for obvious practical reasons, would be almost impossible. Does anyone know if there are breeders of French poodle in the U.S. Spain, preferably England itself? Thanks
