Hi. my dads birthday is coming up & me and my mom want to surprise him with a english bulldog. He likes them. & were trying to find one cheap. like 100-800 dollars.Also my mom would like to have a havanese Cheap. If you can give me any good websites that breed in Anywhere in nc, then that would be great. [ if you post anything like, You wont get one for cheap or If you dont knw anything ab.these dogs then dont get one i will remove ur question] thanks. :]

Havanese dogs and their size?
hey, I was looking into getting a Havanese when I move into my own place and I have researched and incredible sound like dogs. I know they're expensive, but That does not concern me. Anyway my main question is who really wanted a smaller dog, preferably maximum 7.4 pounds, and when I read on websites their average size is 13.7 pounds to a type of Dink in my plan. What is the probability that I will get a Havanese to reach 7 pounds max? If I can get from a breeder with experience, do you think would be able to say? anyway thanks in advance:) M
I say their chances are pretty unlikely. If you go to a responsible breeder who is breeding to the Standard and their dogs are probably somewhere in between - probably about 10 pounds. average. Responsible breeders occasionally have a small (or large) that the standard cub born in a litter, but this is something you can not predict, and the type of thing you try to avoid. Now if you went to an ethical breeder who base their decisions are reproduced in small size, their chances would increase (ie, the "tea cup" phenomenon) ... However, these farmers are ignoring the standard for its breed. Who knows what other genetic junk which are introduced through their ignorance? If your heart is really in a shaggy dog under 7 pounds, you might consider a well-bred Yorkshire Terrier or Maltese. Good luck!
