Boxer Puppies w/ Pimples?
My male boxer puppy (8 months old) has been through a lot since I got him (pneumonia, demodex, always getting picked on at the dogpark (bitten once), etc.) I recently noticed a lump on his inner thigh with red around it. While he was sleeping, I closer inspected it and noticed what looked like a whitehead pimple on his penis. He has cryptorchidism (undescended testicles) also. Anyhow, I figured it may have just been from playing in the park and getting dirty. After giving him a bath, I noticed in the next couple days that more appeared.
I'm such a hypochondriac when it comes to my puppies, so I started inspecting my female boxer (5 1/2 months) and noticed that she had a similar pimple just under her tail.
I have made a vet appointment for them and they go in on Monday morning. If anybody has any insight or has experienced this before, I'd appreciate some information. They are both yet to be fixed as the boy pup is going to require special surgery to locate his testicles.
Boxers have short fur so they are not as protected from the elements. It sounds like a simple pimple, just like humans, it's just from clogged pores. As long as it is not too pussy or looks infected, then it's fine. You can always put a warm compress on it and see if this remedies the problem. It could just be the skin is irritated from the grass, outdoors, etc. And the inner thighs and under belly are more sensitive since there is less fur there to protect. It's great that you care about the welfare of your dogs, better than the other end that doesn't care enough. But don't let it over stress you out. Just stay informed and have regular check ups.

Boxer dog chihuahua?
I only alleviate a puppy from a friend. It has a color of the face of a boxer, but is really small. It looks like a boxer-Chihuahua mix. I can not find photos or any information on this breed to find out. If anyone knows where to find any information or know something about you help me?
It is probably only another race much like the pug.You can call your vet and see if they have the genetic test so that you can find out for sure. It is possible that a large dog to attach to a small dog is in many problems for the smaller dog. I had a woman come into the office with a miniature dachshund had a German Shepherd get it while in the heat. She had to have a caesarean section and all pups died.
