Cavaliers range from $1500 - $2500 depending on location.
Make sure you go through the AKC or CKCSC to get your puppy. They have reputable breeders listed on their site with their locations.
Make sure you see the parents and get their medical records. Cavaliers are prone to heart, knee, eye, and hip problems so seeing the parents papers will help you understand what you face in the future with your puppy.
Do not buy your puppy from any breeder that uses a different registry other than AKC or CKCSC. Those are the only two places you can register a Cavalier that are reputable in the US. Do not buy a puppy from a backyard breeder and definitely do not buy a puppy from a pet store. They are from puppy mills.
