Looking for siblings of English Bulldog puppies from a litter in Johnstown Ohio born August, 2006?
My family purchased an old English Bulldog Puppy from a local breeder in Johnstown Ohio in October of 2006. I am looking to find anyone whom may have purchased one of these puppies as my family feels we have been scammed. There were 13 puppies in the litter. Our dog is registered through the NDR, however he is not believed to be an English Bulldog. He is about 3 ft tall, weighs approx. 80 lbs and is 8 months old. He looks like a mix between a boxer, pitbull and maybe a mastiff. If anyone has one of these puppies, or knows someone who does I would like to contact them. I love my dog very much, however I paid almost $1000 dollars for a specific breed, and I don't feel I received what I paid for. Any answers are greatly appreciated.
Contact the NDR about this. They might have a DNA system set up. With the AKC, if a puppy buyer thinks that the pup is not purebred, they can have DNA done on the pup, the parents and the other pups in the litter. The puppy buyer needs to pay for this, but if it is found that the breeder mismated and registered offspring, then the breeder pays for this and not the puppy buyer. Contact the NDR and ask about this. You need to challenge this breeder.
