Can two wire haired jack russell parents produce smooth haired puppies?
I've just been to see two jack russell puppies who both appear to be short haired but have been bred from two wire haired parents. Will they stay short haired or is the long hair likely to develop later on? They are 9 weeks old at the moment. I much prefer the short haired variety so this is an important factor to me. The owners are conviced they'll stay short haired. Any advice would be much appreciated!
There is a possibility of those two producing a smooth haired jack russel. If possible, ask the breeder(s) to see if they have smooth
