Please, am I crazy for still looking for our puppy?
Our puppy has been lost now for two days. (She was in the yard with the kids, the kids let one of our labs out of their kennel, and he ran off. She followed. He came back, she didn't.) We have had her for a little over a month and I think we kind of bonded. She weighs about 35lbs. BUT When I put up papers at the post office today someone said that they had had two dogs stolen a while back and never got them back. When I went into the gas station, the lady basically acted like there was no hope and said she hopes nothing had gotten her (we live in the country). We have called animal control and some neighbors. I am really scared for her. It has been almost 48 hrs. She is a german shepard if that helps. Should I give up searching? I really want her back and don't want to give up, but is there any hope left? (my husband has basically given up, I just want to know I am not crazy for still looking)
NO dont give up. Is your baby microchipped? Even if she isnt I want to help you. I worked for a company that aids in finding lost pets. I want you to go to their website. this is for real - my heart breaks for you and your lost baby. Thats why I quit the job, I could not handle the pain or the stress. YOU can say even Kim sent you .. I swear on my life it's legit. They will contact every shelter, VET, any animal related aid contact within your area - miles are not counted. They will go over your area as well. All you have to do is share a pic of your lost baby and her stats - her breed, age, weight, markings and such. Its all there for you to fill out.
