Where on the internet can I find a map that shows roads that intersect with the PCH in California ?
I need this because I am walking up the coast, a few miles at a time, and I need to take a bus back to where I began, instead of having to walk back.
PCH doesn't go along the coast the entire way, that is the biggest misnomer of them all. From Seal Beach until Santa Monica you will be walking through the city on a very, very busy city road.
Through parts of Long Beach and Wilmington you will be more than a mile from the coast and walking through bad parts of town. That is if you stay on PCH, of course.
You also will have to walk along Interstate 5 since PCH doesn't go through Camp Pendleton which sits on the coast. You might even be stopped by border patrol if you plan on walking along I-5 north of San Diego.
