I have a 10 year old breed)spayed miniature Australian Shepherd, purchased as a pup from a reputable breeder.?
She has 24 hour access to a dog door, but in the last 2 years, she will sometimes urinates on our bed, which she shares with me, another dog, and a couple of cats. She will paw through a pile of pillows to fing my favorite. She's trying to tell me something, but what ever happened to the thing about not fouling the nest? The vet can find nothing physical, but I'm really tired of doing laundry. It's streaky- every day or so for maybe a month, and then not again for a few months. I can't think of anything that's changed. Any ideas?
If she clears with a vet, then buy her a crate and have her sleep in it at night. Don't keep letting her sleep in your bed and pee in your bed, or the other dog may start doing it, as well. Sounds like an awful lot of animals in the bed! How do you sleep? (just kidding)

I know a lot of people have been saying that Miniature Australian Shepherds are not "real" dogs, so if that's what you tell me, please do not respond ... Does anyone know of breeders of "mini" Australian Shepherds in Texas?? Thanks
Those who are playing "mini" Aussies, and I use quotation marks around "mini" because this is a false race, are actually mixed small breeds Australians like Poms, Chihuahuas, butterflies, and other small breeds. How sad that someone out there decided the Australian would be great as a "toy" breed. You know what people? The slippery slope ... Australian Mini, Mini Golden, Labrador Mini, Mini San Bernardo, Dalmations Mini, Mini Great Danes ... Everything comes, folks!
