how much does a 30 pound dog eat?
I am planning to get a dog soon and am going to feed it a raw food diet to avoid chemicals and fillers but I need to know how much to feed cause then I can figure out how much meat and how much veggies to feed. I am getting a miniature australian shepherd and they are usually around 30 pounds. please only experienced answers. remember this is for the health of my dog thanks!
PS mini aussies rock!!!! who else out there loves them?. not many people even now about them!!
Feed it about 4 pounds of meat everyday

How do you feel about designer breed rescues?
Now I'm not saying that these dogs do not deserve the rescue, all homeless dogs do. But how do you feel about the bailouts that are dedicated to pull "Goldendoodles" "Australia miniature Shepherds", "Cockapoos" or "maltipoo" and again after the market as such. I guess to me, only reiterating that they are "really" a race, when in reality they are not. If you are not going to save for the Golden Poodle mix, then why not Labrador Husky mix? After all, there are many more homeless Lab / Husky. What are people's thoughts on this? Once again, I'm not saying that "mongrels" not also deserve the rescue of purebred dogs do, but I almost feel that there are a lot of good by promoting them as distinct races. I also wonder, Do you think that educating potential adopters who are not? Sorry if this is confusing! I just want opinions!
I understand that you come to this. Not bailout blame is the people's servants so that my fault. Many people want to design these races, so if you see them in a shelter that can take place to buy one. Unfortunately designers are in high demand, so I see it as if these people get a shelter, do not go to a pet shop or factory puppies. I'm glad there is a rescue of these dogs, because it really is not their fault that they are the product of human stupidity
