Were can I volunteer?
My previos daycare superviser wants me to volunteer at the daycare this summer but 'm an animal person --NOT a kid person. I want to volunteer at some shelter in mississauga bt don't know any except the Toronto Humane Society...and that's too far. I'm only 13 and my mom would NEVER let me take the transit or anything and there's no one i know who drives that far. Besides only stray FLIES in my neighborhood, and why would i want to help them (:P)?
I want to help out/do animal related things that will help with anything AND get school credit for it. (this is really the only reason my mom wants me to go)
Any advice is appreciatd...THANX

13 weeks old puppy cries?
I have recently adopted a kitten from human society mississauga was 12 weeks when I have it and just looked meow (voltage setting) around at 7 and 19:00 or when she wanted me to pick it up. Good for last night shes been waking me up and running meowing frantically. So strong my mom and her sister can listen to their rooms. I do not know what to do, I'm so lack of sleep and exhausted, I just need something that will make you relax at night. Someone has Any idea what is wrong with it or I can do? Currently thinks I'm his mom, so I do not think there's any problem with your "no mom" because for one ... I have it when she does not have one.
Cats are nocturnal and love to play and hunt at night! She is meowing because he is lonely and wants someone to play with her. Your best bet is really just use the heck out of it during the day. They love to sleep all day so if you can play with it as well as possible, it would be great. Try looking at your schedule! Seeing his home to "cat nap", do not leave! Tell your mom to do the same if home when you are in school. If you are keeping it in a different part of the house? Do you have a basement? That's really the best place for a cat at night if you like to run all night. Keep the door closed and put some soothing music on the i pod or wear earplugs. Let the rest of the family do the same. As soon as she realizes that will not get any attention during the night, she stop meowing and probably even sleep almost all night. In addition, she has been sterilized though? I would do now if not because if she is not sterile, it also makes you really want to be at night (when it would be normal looking cat boy if outdoors). She also may have come into heat if not fixed does meow and act restless. GOOD LUCK! Do not give it up. Things will get better. I hope I helped!
