recently adopted pup?
I just recently adopted a newfoundland pup. Got her home and she is throwing up white foam. Does anyone know if shes sick or not? They said at the rescue she was nervous. that she is not eating but did drink a little water. i have had her for about 4 hours. She walks around wagging her tail is NOT lethagic.
as soon as you can, get her checked for everything there is, heartworms, ticks, stomach flu. she probably is nervous, but it could also be something else. but it may not be bad. she may just be getting used to your house.

How big newfie puppies?
I want to get a Newfoundland and I know how big they are, I have house-sat a group of friends and I love them, but I want to know how big the puppies, as a puppy two months old. And I also want to know if the rescue league, which could take either !!!!!
Newfie puppies are huge in a couple of months, which are the size of what most of us believe that dogs! But I think the real issue here is not wht you want a puppy, but an adult Newfoundland full make-you have the space for that? All you need do is search the web good for "Rescue Newfoundland" or go to Petfinder.com and specify a Newfoundland and you should find Newfs adoption. In addition, it is never a bad idea to contact breeders in your area who belong to the club affiliated with the Canine Association national (ie, AKC), and ask the breeders reputation, Tak always recover their own dogs for life, and sometimes have one or two who desperately need a home of their own. Newfoundland puppies are rarely available, and frankly, I never want to be invoved with one that did not come with an endorsement of the breeder. Heart defects can newfs important and hip problems, aomng other things, and surgery to correct this is very expensive. And also - what type of crane will need to possess to help a dog of that size can not roam on their own?! It is not serious and cheap way to get a Newfoundland, and if you do not have the resources, should be reconsidered. There are plenty of things are cheaper - like a horse. I love Newfs to the ends of the earth and I've taken care of a kennel full (there is nothing like having 13 Newfs running to you to try and give the clay first, a hug slimy, furry!), but honestly, I can not think of that scale ...
