Does Anyone On Here Own A Monkey?
What kind of pet does he/she make? I am thinking about owning a monkey... probably a capuchin. And do you know any good breeders? Thanks
I don't know any breeders, but I do know some info on capuchins. They require a lot of training, are are illegal in some places, so you will need to check your area's laws. Also, all monkeys will bite, so they need to be "disarmed" which means most of their teeth are removed surgically. Most of the food they eat is soft anyway. Even with training they still bite most of the time.

Someone to help with the monkeys?
Hi, I have been looking to add a monkey to my family, and am having some problems. I found many ads on the Internet for many different types, but I regret to say that they have all been scams. I am finding impossible to contact a "real" breeder. I was interested in capuchin monkeys, until I learned that were illegal in Alberta (where I live). I learned that the only legal marmosets, however I hear they are messy. Please help. What monkeys arn't Alberta illegal? What would be the best as partners? Where I can find a good breeder? Ps. I had monkeys before, so plz do not lecture me about how they think they are "Bad pets." I do not want a pet. I want a partner. I know what I'm getting.
