How can I get my 6month old pomeranian to sleep at night???
Hi, I am hoping someone else has had this experience. I got my puppy when she was 10 weeks old. She slept fine in her crate/pen until about two months ago. I let her bark at nite like you are supposed to until the neighbers complained (im in an apt.) So, I would get up and play with her and put her back which was BAD. Now she sleeps in the bed but some nites she doesnt sleep at all and barks at me to get up. I tried everything to tire this one out. She even goes to the dog day care some days during the week while I am at work so she can run around all day. I am trying to avoid barking because of the neighbors, I tried tiring her out and squirting water. Did anything else work for anyone or will she maybe outgrow this phase? Other than this she is the most loveable dog.
Try training her.
I mean real training not retail pet store training.
Avoid clicker/food training even though its the current fad.
Find a traditional trainer that trains your dogs mind and not his stomach.
I have a Pomeranian and compete successfully in AKC obedience events.
She is a brilliant and wonderful dog. Sounds like your dog just needs a job.

i want one sooo not pretty my mom said ifi care of my 2 tanks of fish and two dogs alone with the help eny that mabye I'm 11 also my tank is empty the first, the other has two oscars and my uncle is in charge of the Rose (boy) and partner (boy) and I want a girl dog
If you already properly care for two dogs then you already have an idea on how to care for a Pom. may be tiny, but like any dog, the Pom still needs a lot of regular attention stay healthy and happy. Food, feed your puppy aa good quality dog food as recommended by the breeder and / or veterinarian. A good starting point starts with a good solid diet. POMS also require a lot of time to exercise and play. POMS are the toy breed, but the races working class Spitz. Require daily walks along with routine socialization time. WC, the Pom has a glamorous coat, but requires the preparation of regular time to keep that coat in good condition, mat-free condition. They are famous for carpet behind the ears and under side to ensure they are fully polished. Lots and lots of love, POMS like being the center of attention and loves to be pampered. And with any animal, not a toy - it is a living breathing has some of the same needs that we as humans do - they treat them with respect and in turn treat you with respect, well ...
