In dog grooming, will a comb attachment haircut harm a double coat like a regular blade can?
i have a pomeranian who we have shaved twice, and there is one spot that hasn't grown back normally. hair is now cotton like wooly. will a comb attachment haircut do this same harm as the blade by itself did?
usually not. and not all dogs have a wierd reaction to a shave down, it's only once in a great while that a dog will grow back funny and even shaving the same dog over and over, just one time, it may have a funny reaction with the regrowth.
over time, it may eventually grow back but yes, use a longer blade and it will have a greater chance at recovery. it is usually the 7, 10 and higher blade numbers that normally can get a wierd regrowth reaction.

Haircut for my pomeranian?
My dog is about 5 months old and is now going through the stage of hair loss and is everywhere! Not to mention the small ball hair is the cutest thing either. I have really wanted to get it prepared, but I know what court should give me at this point? Could someone show me pictures? Also this is my first time as owner of a dog, what price should I expect from an abuser?
You can take your dog to an abuser make it good brush and ask them to show how the mats out, and how to brush. So then should'nt need for more trips to the hairdresser, who knows how do it yourself. If you want to bathe your dog. If you are not bathed maybe they will charge less. If you bathe your dog at home will have to be careful about the ears that do not want to take water in the ears as it can cause ear infection. Also beware of all the soap burns of the eye. Sure using good dog shampoo. should'nt that bathing your dog more than once every 4-6 weeks. They have also show what to do Arond space private and under the armpits. (Under the arm pits need to be careful) not to the question afree groomer.
