which food should i feed my toy poodle?
i have a new toy poodle pup. hes two months old now. im debating one whether i should feed him purina pro plan or just purina puppy chow. i hear alot of good comments about pro plan and how it makes their coats shiny and teeth and bones strong and how they would recomment other to that food but everyone says the same thing about all the dog foods. i dont have my puppy yet. the breeder is giving him hi pro right now but we dont have that here in florida. any suggestions would be helpful
yes. i've done research on lots of dog food. pro plan comes in many variety such as pro plan small breed puppy, pro plan small breed adult, senior and even large breeds for puppies.
I would feed out of the ones you listed Pro Plan - that is one good thing I can say about Purina - they were not involved in the large dog food recall and haven't had one that I remember, so if I had to feed a dog food from Iams, Pedigree, or Hills (that were involved) I would definitely go with Purina due to that reason.
Another option is Wellness Just For Puppy - you can find it at Petco (and maybe Petsmart by now) and it is not much more than Purina but is better for your dog, then you could change to Wellness Small Breed I put links below:
