Looking for Portuguese Water Dog Breeders in Ontario Canada?
We are looking for a PWD in Ontario. Does anyone out there have one? or can you recommend a breeder that you know of? Lots of info on the net, but I'd like info from someone who's actually purchased one through a breeder anywhere in Ontario. We're looking for a black and white male with a wavy coat for a pet, not a showdog or breeding dog.
Your best bet would likely be to go to a dog show in your area. You can meet and talk to some breeders and owners and get their opinions first-hand, as well as actually see some of the dogs out there. There's not many of this breed around, so try and pick a larger show. Or you can guy Dogs Annual magazine and check out breeders there, then research them in depth yourself.
