on the kennel club (uk) site ( http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/findabreed/info.asp?breed=5135 ) it says there are two differents types of coat that portuguese water dogs can have.
the two types being:
a long and loosely waved coat
or a
short and harsh coat with compact curls
so do you think this dog's coat is wavy or curly?
Curly. It's a little difficult to tell because it's clipped short but if you look at the head and ears it's pretty obvious. Generally the hair on the head and ears of a wavy is fairly straight.
