How much does a newfoundland dog cost?
I want a large newfoundland dog and am curious of their price as puppy's.
In the Midwest, they start at about $1000 but you can occasionally find an older puppy for about $750. The price is higher if you are looking for a show/breeder quality puppy.
Just try to find a breeder that has tested the parents hips for dysplasia (which Newfies are very prone to). The parents should have a rating of excellent or good. Any other breed specific health testing is a very good sign that you are dealing with a reputable breeder.
