where in the uk can you purchase a pygmy marmoset?
do you know of a place or a breeder, and whats the price range thanks
wow lisa likes to stereo type people ha ha well i dont want a monkey why some body would want one is beyond me lol i was asking for a mate of mine who has been offered a 3 year old pygmy marmoset for 3000 gbp and wanted to know if that was about right but thanks for assuming lisa lol
They are illegal to own unless you can get a licence/permit which them selves can cost a few thousand. You will have to check your area zoning laws because you may not be able to have one at all.
The money it self costs over 1000 and you would ideally need 2 because they become agressive on their own - they need to socialise with others of their species or they develop mental problems and are not happy monkeys!!
Your best bet is to put "monkeys for sale in the UK" into google and it will list all the sites that are selling them.
Please note in many places its illegal to own one because its cruel. They aren't happy unless with others of their own kind.
