What do you think of mixed breed dogs?

Some say they are the best and others say they suck because you cant show them. Im sick of people not getting homeless and in need dogs because they cant show them or cant take them out in public because there coats arent the same shade as the pure breed dogs are so I need your idea on mixed breed dogs. I love them in fact I have two of them and they are from sheilthers and one from the herrican.

I am sick of the designer dog bullhonkey, but other than that, I love mutts. I grew up with a lab/border collie, husky/beagel and a rottie/husky. I have two purebreds now, solely because they fell into my lap. I think that the intentional breedings my greedy people need to stop, just to make greedy puppymillers money (read designer dogs), but there is nothing wrong with owning a mutt, and people who are ashamed of the fact that they own a mutt shouldn't own ANY dog at all. The only intentional breeding of mutts that I support is for a specific purpose, lurchers, fiests, and other specific hunting or herding crosses specifically for the purpose.

ADD - Unstoppable, if it's none of your business, and you hate mutts, why would you answer the question? Wouldn't common sense tell you not to bother?

ADD - Crysana you're right. Take a look at the field and show LABS. Totally different. It is sad what the did to the show bordercollie.... and any of the show herding breeds in general... that's why I couldn't care less about showing.
