Pwd Breeder Q&A

What is the PWD (Portuguese Water Dog) reproducing age?

Umm... this sounds kinda weird, I know, but I am curious because of what my dog just did.

He started to hump his pillow that he sleeps on. Now, I don't know if it was humping (this is my first dog), but I am fairly sure it was.

I am really worried because I have a 3 year old little brother who often wrestles with him. What if, y'know...? The dog is about 7 months old and we have had him for 5 months and he comes from a breeder.

Furthermore, if you can suggest a way to break him of his habit, that would be most welcome.

I am not trying to be funny (I know that is hard to believe), and I would really appreciate serious answers.

Thank you.

Get him fixed if he isn't already.
If he's already fixed, ask the breeder. But if he does it spray him with a water bottle or redirect his attention with a favorite toy.
I hope this helps and dogs (male) start acting this way around 3 months, that is when they are capable of u kno wat. =)

GOOD LUCK

Pwd Breeder Q&A

Does this seem like a good breeder of people with disabilities?

Http://www.rysalka.co.uk/ We met them at Crufts and looked very good and have many offspring per year, focus more on agility and showing etc. I think they do the tests, but I'll see what they do! Yes, we will visit in early April and if you are good then we will put our names down for a puppy.

Well, the website looks good. It seems that they do a lot of complying with their dogs. I do not see any job titles. Also do not see much mention in the health screening, but could simply how things are done in the UK. I might consider it if I was looking for a person with disabilities.
