Rottweiler Owners, I got questions?
Whats the best brand of dry dog food to feed one and what are some good names?
I'm leaning towards Rocky because I want to come home and greet it like "A, Rocco!" lol. But its unoriginal.
Not sure if I want a male or female, what are the pros and cons of each gender?
Also can you send me links of good breeders in Illinois, specifically southern suburbs of Chicago? or anywhere close. its alot of answering yes but come on its 10 points

A reasonable alternative to holistic dog food (and there are many good ones) is the Diamond Naturals or Taste of the Wild (grain free) also Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul - those are their good brands (anything else from Diamond - don't get as it is loaded with corn wheat and soy). But Diamond has cleaned up its act and they - unlike many other manufacturers did admit they had a problem and made steps to fix it:

As for the breeders - look at this link - they are not breeders but here is the rescue organization that covers Illinois that you could consider unless you just want a puppy and oftentimes you can find one thru a rescue group as well - here is the link:
