Do you agree with the article that Rotties as a breed need to loose their "mean streak"?
Or is it back yard breeders/puppy mills who sell to anyone with money & do not breed with health, stability, function & the breed standard in mind, who largely cause the problem?
Isn't a well bred Rott is an asset to the family because the breeder breeders of the Rotts parents, grandparents, etc. cared enough about Rottweiler to breed only the best dogs they possibly could?

Bad breeding makes for bad temperamented Rottweilers. I grew up with Rotties, my friends could come over and practice flag football in the backyard and the dogs would follow and chase us, no problems. Welcomed strangers were fine to come in, other dogs were safe to come in...but if commanded to, any of the Rottweilers we owned would put anybody on their *** in a heartbeat. If a Rottweiler isn't capable of being trained to become a competent protection dog or PSD it's not a Rottweiler at all. BUT they shouldn't be "mean" dogs, they should be good natured dogs who can get as mean as need be should the situation arise!

I recently bought a rottweiler puppy 6wk and have booked an appointment for the vet later this week. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how many vaccines over a period of time you will need before you can start taking walks and an average cost of these vaccines United Kingdom? IN !!!!!
Do you have all vaccines before your purchase? If you do not need puppy shots.They 3-4 start when you take your puppy to the vet and continue every 3 to 4 weeks until finished.With Rotties must wait until she has about three shots before taking to the vet walks.It depends as to how much the price of 20 is.Between and $ 25 each veterinarian shot.Your discuss this with you when you go in
