Does anyone else have a Long Haired Jack Russell Terrier?
I own a long haired JRT Stud Dog, produced by rough coated short legged JRT parents. Only the occasional pup in a litter will inherit the long hair gene from both parents. The long haired tends to be light framed, white and tan with large eyes from the ones I've seen.
Only wish to hear from people who have or know of a Long haired JRT so I can gather more info on them, thank you.
My website shows my stud dog, these are often mistaken for mix breeds but are a rare genetic throwback.

These are very long haired, about 4 inches in length, slightly wavy, not the shorter rough/wire coat.
A one year old is not fully developed the coat may still be growing for another year.
YES I OWNED ONE, she was bred by my mother in law, she was the only long coated pup in the litter and i just had to have her, people never believed me when i said she was a JRT. I wish i could upload a photo of her but i haven't got a clue how to.
She was tan and white.
YES I HAVE WORKED OUT HOW TO ADD PHOTOS!!!
