Staffordshire Terrier Dog Breeder Q&A

What to look for when buying a dog?

Hi there. This is the first time I'm buying a dog. The race I'm wanting is a staffordshire bull terrier puppy, and I need advice on what should ask the breeder, and what to look. Most ads claim the puppies vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, IKC registered and offspring of parents can be seen. Furthermore, most farmers are making a price range between £ 400 to £ 500. But what I say when I get home from breeders. I researched the breed well and I am very fond of Staffordshire bull terriers. What should I be looking for and ask. THANKS.

I would make sure the puppies are L2 and HC clear and ask to see proof. L2 and HC have DNA testing that can be raised out of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier forever. here is information. HC http://www.aht.org.uk/genetics_l2hga.html L2 http://www.aht.org.uk/genetics_staffcataracts.html also ask to see the registration documents at least two parents or fewer in puppies. If both parents are in the site after a month. Make sure that there are too fearful or aggressive toward you. And see if they conform to the standard of KC. Ask if you do sign a contract. Also if they are to recover the puppy at any age is something that happens. Reputable breeders breed puppy recover at any age, for any reason. BEST OF LUCK.
