is there such thing as a teacup chihuahua??

ive heard thers such thing as teacup chihuahua, basically smaller
iv also heard that theres no such thing and breeders just say this to earn more money!!!
WHICH ONE IS TRUE??
It's just an adjective to describe a small chihuahua. I have a small black/tan that is the size of a soda pop bottle or a bit smaller. They are just small dogs. She is about three pounds, but she is kind of fat. If she were slim, she would be about 2lbs or so. She fits in the palm of your hand.

teacup chihuahua information in Knoxville TN?
i am looking to buy a teacup chihuahua and I live in Knoxville TN area and can not seem to find breeders. Does anyone no breeders in TN. I am I can not pay more than $ 400. so if anyone knows any breeders that I could buy a teacup chihuahua please let me know. thx
LOL @ Uhave2Be Sigh ... I think this is the 15 "teacup" I question the answer in 2 days. ... Well chihuahua under six pounds for the standard race. So why there would be no need for a smaller version than that? Everything that is sold with a "teacup" label it's going to be rude, ill, and probably have a shorter shelf life. That said, I do not get a chihuahua from any breeder, responsible or not for only $ 400. Your best bet would be to go rescue chihuahua or petfinder.com and search there. That was the best way I could say.
