Does anyone know where I can get a Teacup Yorkshire Terrier in the NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD area?
I see site websites of breeders which offer to ship the puppies to me; which I think is terrible, and anyone offering to put a puppy in the mail can't be reputable. Does anyone know of any good breeders?
Thanks for your clarification about shipping via airlines. I was on a flight once where there was a dog that died (he froze to death) because of some malfunction in the pet storage area. It was DEVASTATING to witness the owner make this discovery in the baggage claim area. Im sure it was a fluke, but I wouldnt put my child on flight alone either. I'll keep an open mind for people who do choose that route. Thnx!
tons of breeders offer to ship their puppies to you and dont send them in the mail.... they put them on a plane and you pick them up at the airport. that is a very normal way to recieve a new puppy. if you dont like that idea just look for breeders that are closer to you so that you could drive to them. but please dont thi nk a breeder not reputable because they will ship to you. my mother and i have picked up many puppies from the airport and not one thing was wrong with them. we have also shipped puppies as far as japan on a plane and they were safe and well taken care of so please reconsider. the breeder usually agrees to send a video of the pups first so you can see them running and playing around and you will actually get to choose your pup that way so you can see thier personalitys as oppoesd to just a still pic of them. hope this helps and happy puppy hunting.

Hi, I was looking to buy a teacup Yorkshire terrier. I was wondering if anyone knows of breeders in the Minneapolis / Duluth Minneasota. Any anything would be helpful. Much appreciated, thanks. I just need a small yorkie that does not mix. I ordered a glass of water because I've seen several that are more than 10 kilos and I need a small.
ETA: yorkies than 10 pounds? That has to be mixed or supercharged or something. Standard Yorkie is 7 pounds and under. You can find a yorkie that the 10 pounds ... just do not get one from a backyard breeder! Try some of the rescues ... will be cheaper and probably back seat breeders a bit healthier. No breeder, reputable anyway, breed and sell "teacups." Yorkies are ONE size = 7 pounds and under. No category in other sizes. Do not fall for a scam cup of tea. Try Petfinder.
