Do I need to bring anything with me to pick up a dog from the airport?
I purchased a pup from a breeder in texas. She will be shipping this week, I was wondering if anyone out there has picked up a new pup at an airport before and if I need anything specific to pick the dog up. I figured i would bring my license but I wasn't sure if there was anything else. The dog will come with a travel crate, and his papers. Thanks
I would also bring something to wipe up the crate with. Use a product like get serious or nature's miracle to remove the smell of any accidents. It will also work as you potty train your puppy.
Little doggies get scared during the trip and often have accidents. The airline will NOT take care of this for you. You may also want to bring a water bottle and something for her to drink out of it. And a collar and leash as you should get her out of the crate to walk a little bit before getting in the car to go home.
