who is a Yorkshire Terrier Owner?
I recently wrote that i wanted a toy dog, and was advised a Yorkie...I did an intensive research and realized that i would be ready to love and acquire one! My lab "Symphony" died 3 months ago from old age, and she was the best yellow lab I ever had.
I went to a breeder and saw some Yorkies...Now, the breeder's Dam and Sire ( the parent dogs) had all sort of high beds, fancy toys, food, blankets and what not?
Will i need the same for my little one? What did you get yours?
A high quality food is a MUST! My dog doesnt have fancy things, he's a dog. But he does have the proper nutrition and treats. He has two dog beds from Walmart that he loves (one in my bedroom and one in the living room) and a simple jacket for the winter months. He does have quite a few toys though. But we have aquired them throughout the years. He has food bowls from Walmart and toys from Walmart and Petsmart.
I spend the most money on food and treats. Yorkies are small and dont eat a lot so you can afford to buy a very high quality food, like Wellness. And I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to dog treats. They are all just crapy filler. But if you look hard you will be able to find very good treats.
