Train Your Saint Bernard Q&A
Do you take your dog traveling to shows with you?
Do you take your small or large dog traveling to horse shows with you, if so how did you train them to stay close to you without continuously calling their name??
I have a 4 month old Saint Bernard, Beethoven and I when I start doing shows maybe a year or longer from now, I want to take him with me but I want him to stay close to me, stay in the trailer whentold, and not get in the way of other peoples horses??
For the last 30 years I have always taken my dogs with me to horse shows.
I have traveled across the country and into Canada with them for horse shows.
I would never take them to a horse show where I did not have stabling though.
That means they do NOT go to shows where I am showing out of a trailer (which for me is never)
My dogs are trained to stay with me, and when I am off showing, they are put in the stall that we are using for a tack room.
Enroll your dog in real obedience classes (not at the pet store) and you can easily have a dog you can rely on in your time frame.
The dogs that currently travel with me are both Obedience titled dogs.

Train Your Saint Bernard Q&A
Want a St. Bernard?
I've been waiting a sense I was little saint. You can not afford to buy one of more than $ 200, I know that it costs much more. I will be able to pay for vaccines and all that is needed. If you or someone you know [even a reliable web site] can help me get a saint for $ 200 or less, would be wonderful. Thanks for your time. PS I am interested in a puppy. so you can train him and make a real connection.
