Are King Charles Spaniels Prone To Tones Of Diseases...?

I have been looking at the king charles spaniel and have been wanting to get one...

are the vet bills a lot for these dogs or just normal like any other dog (check ups)

Are These Dogs Easy To Train And HOUSE BREAK

Do they shed all over .... would the furminater (spelling) take most of the shedding away (do they shed as much as labs)

Unfortunately King Charles Spaniels are prone to some serious diseases. One of the worst is syringomyelia, which is a deformation of the skull that causes the brain to outgrow the skull. Mitral valve disease, which can lead to heart failure, is another serious problem with this breed. Both of these conditions are common, but a good breeder can screen for them and avoid breeding affected dogs, or dogs that carry the defective genes. If you want to get a KCS, it's extremely important to get it from a reputable breeder who performs these and other health tests.

Shedding shouldn't be a big issue if you groom the dog regularly. Frequent brushing will remove most of the hair before it ends up on the furniture.
