How much does gas cost for a trip that has 45hrs of driving?
I might go on a trip to New Jersey, and when i google mapped it, it said it's gonna take 45 hours. I live in Vernon, BC, Canada. How much does gas cost how long would it take to get there? How much would this whole trip cost including food, and a place to stay?
If you go to Mapquest.com, you can put in the destination (from the exact address to the exact address) and there is an option to estimate the fuel cost. I did it, estimating that you will get 15 miles per gallon and it comes to $490.88.
If you go to this site you can go next to where it tells the total travel time and mileage and select the fuel cost button and put in your actual miles per gallon.

Depending on how long you're staying, you could probably find a hotel for about $100 a night or less depending on where you want to say. I would plan probably $10 per meal, but you can adjust that by choosing different places and being more budget conscious.
