Where can I a find a trustful place where to see and buy a puppy dog?
I am in the San Francisco Bay Area and am trying to decide which puppy breed to buy. My options are: Weimaraner, Damatian, Australian Shepher or Husky.
But it has being almost impossible to find puppies for sale, and I do not know of any breeder with puppies or a trusful web site.
I appreciate you have any good information.
Thanks for all your answers, they really helped. ...I just came form the local humane society; it was a great experience, but unfortunately they did not have any of the breeds I want.
Call your nearest kennel club. There are many responsible breeders of these breeds in your area. Go to a dog show and talk to exhibitors of the breeds you like. They will guide you in finding reputable breeders. Be sure the breeder tests the breeding dogs for genetic diseases, screens you as thoroughly as you do them, and takes back their own dogs at any time for any reason. If they do rescue as well, all the better. Good luck.
