Westies are well known for having several skin problems.. You didn't say wheter it is warts/cycts, or itching..or bare spots or sore and red...

At this season, it is likely to be pollen related or mold/mildew..But household cleaners often aggravate the condition..chemicals such as Swiffer Wet jet, Carpet cleaners, air fresheners, etc..
It may be of help to feed a food that doesn't contain corn or wheat.

How to cure my allergies dogs?
My dog is a Westie (West Highland White Terrier). commentators of race is to have allergies that affect the skin. The vet gave us medicine, but only works to a point and then get worse. He has his allergies in the lip and cuts and makes it dry. He is in healthy condition, but I was wondering how to get and dry cuts away to make much cleaner lip for it.
Allergies can not be cured can only be managed and as you said Westie are prone to skin problems that can be terrible. First, is what is causing the allergic reaction (your veterinarian can test for this) as you need to know what is causing the problem for the appropriate action. May be related to diet or the environment or Malassezia (yeast, and on growth in the skin of dogs.) Whatever you need to know this first in order to treat properly. Could be a change of diet, medicines, antihistamines, shampoos or a combination.
