Do you know what kind of dog this is? Pics included.?
Here are some pictures of a dog that we rescued. I have no clue what kind it is, it looks like a boxer but is really small. She is 7 to 8 weeks old and weighs about 3 pounds. She also has a white tip on her tail and on her toes.

Rescue dogs with kennel cough!?
I adopted a boxer than a year old a week ago. As of yesterday has been coughing and hacking up phlegm white. Everything I've read indicates that cough is kennels. She goes to the vet for antibiotics but is there anything I can do to make you feel more comfortable waiting for the drugs to take effect? In addition, she is very light weight (only 48 lbs.) Any suggestions on getting her weight gain quickly? She eats 2 times a day, about 2 cups of dry food mixed with a bit damp (the only way to eat it.) Now, with its cold that seems to be eating a little less: (Thanks for any info! We want she gets better and enjoy their new life happy:)
Honestly antibiotics will not improve their piracy or whatever to remove the virus. Antibiotics should only be administered to older dogs or compromised immune to prevent secondary infection. Antibiotics have no effect on viruses. If she has already begun antibiotics must complete the full course inorder to prevent resistance in the future. I would call the vet a report of its symptoms are still significant. Usually a script surpressant codeine based cough dog with a bad cough associated with kennel cough and antibiotics. Kennel cough is self-limiting. Which means he has to run its course and go in about 14 days long, any user of Yahoo questions about kennel cough alarm me see how many people recommend antibiotics as it is only a reflection of what your vet prescribed / recommended. Any current text veterinarian defend against antibiotics. Also, never ever give dog bacon grease. Inorder to fatten her up you could feed your puppy food for a short time. You could Egg offer a hard time when peeling potatoes or boiled. I mention these foods, and it does not bother the stomach and are often used to a soft diet. Also I stay away from ice as they find that eating dogs or play with them tend to jump or broken teeth.
